Flashback to 5/24/03…
So I finally finished my account of Britton’s wedding. Highlights revolved around what we did to Britton and his worldly possessions, most notably after the bachelor party.
The kitten with CGD ranks up there for weekend stories, though.
Incidentally, I had an epiphanic realization in a kitchen. Nothing big — I think it rattled a tea cup off of Britschenstrasse 704 in Mauren-Schaanwald, Liechtenstein.

As with so many of my stories, this one starts off while I was fencing at David’s house. Truly came out with Zack, and said they were going to the store, and did we want anything? People chimed in with requests for lemonade, nothing carbonated, hot dogs, etc. etc. Being the clever ass that I am, I said, “I want a pony!”
Truly made mental notes and said, “Right, lemonade, nothing fizzy, and a pony.” Then she left and we went back to fencing.
So an hour later, we’re taking a break from our sidesword play, when Truly and Zack get back. Zack comes up and tugs on my shirt, and says, “B’kow!” Which is how he’s said my name since he met me. I look down, and he thrusts up a little plastic pony at me. With a long, soft mane and tail no less. And it comes with a brush.
So now I have my pony.
